INGREDIENTS

  • 4 bone-in pork chops, 6 oz each
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 tbsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 1/2 tsp cumin, ground

DIRECTIONS

  • Note: this recipe is best when cooked on a Teflon coated griddle or electric grill. If not available, a large heavy bottom skillet will suffice. The chops should be flat on the bottom of the skillet. If necessary, use two utensils.
  • Turn the griddle to 350°F or heat skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Lightly sprinkle both sides of the chops with ground cumin. Sprinkle chops moderately with lemon pepper seasoning. If a skillet is used, place the butter into the skillet to melt. Move the melted butter around to coat the bottom of the skillet.
  • Place the chops onto the griddle. Reduce the heat to medium. Cook the chops for 3 minutes and turn them over to cook the second side for 3 minutes. Continue to flip and cook while monitoring the browning of the chops. Do not allow to over cook. Check the internal temperature with a instant read thermometer to reach a temperature of 170°F. Serve and enjoy!!
