INGREDIENTS

  • 4 bone in pork chops
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 can cream of celery or cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 pkg frozen shredded hash browns - thawed
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  • Pre-heat oven to 375°F. In a large skillet add oil and brown chops on both sides, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Set side, do not cook all the way through.
  • In a large bowl combine sour cream, milk and soup. Stir in hash browns and onion. Spread hash brown mixture in 9 x 13 greased pan and top with cheese.
  • Place chops on top of the cheese. Bake uncovered for 45 minutes until chops are cooked all the way through.
