INGREDIENTS

  • 1 pound cubed steak
  • 1 cup House Autry™ Chicken Breader
  • 2 Tbl. vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS

  • Place a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Place the Chicken Breader into a paper bag or plastic bag. Place the cubed steaks into the bag and toss to coat well with the Breader.
  • When the skillet has heated, add the vegetable oil. When the oil begins to shimmer, carefully add the cubed steaks to the skillet.
  • When the steaks brown on the first side, flip them over to brown on the second side. Check the steaks' internal temperature and remove from heat at the desired temperature - rare, around 130°F, medium, around 145°F, and well-done, around 165°F. The steaks will continue to cook and the temperature will continue to increase after the steaks are removed from the skillet. Serve and enjoy!
