INGREDIENTS

  • 1/2 cup Neufchatel cheese
  • 3 tablespoons low-fat yogurt
  • Dash salt
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons snipped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried tarragon leaves
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced shallots

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix all ingredients except tarragon and shallots in a blender or food processor until smooth and fluffy.
  • Add tarragon and shallots to sauce.
  • Cook over simmering water until hot and thickened. Serve immediately or refrigerate and serve cold.
  • Stir before using
