INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbl. gelatin (unflavored)
  • 2 1/4 cups tomato juice
  • 3 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1/2 tsp. grated onion (flakes may be used)
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • Dash of pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix tomato juice slowly with gelatin to soften.
  • Dissolve bouillon cubes in water; stir into gelatin and tomato juice mixture until gelatin is dissolved.
  • Stir in onion, salt and pepper.
  • Refrigerate until set. Serve in a small bowl placed in larger bowl of crushed ice.
