INGREDIENTS

  • 2 Tbl butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 1 to 1 1/2 Tbl cornstarch
  • 1 cup broccoli
  • 1 cup green beans
  • 1 cup peas
  • 1 cup American or cheddar cheese, grated
  • 2 Tbl butter or margarine melted
  • 1 cup Ritz (salad) crackers, crushed

DIRECTIONS

  • Cook onion in 2 Tbl butter until tender. Add cornstarch, salt, pepper and sour cream; mix well. Stir in green vegetables.
  • Place in casserole dish, top with grated cheese.
  • Combine remaining 2 Tbl butter and cracker crumbs; place on top of cheese.
  • Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
