  • 1 cup (8 oz) finely cut dried figs
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange rind

DIRECTIONS

  • In a small, heavy saucepan, combine figs, water, brown sugar, and orange rind.
  • Cook over low heat, stirring frequently, until mixture is thick enough to hold its shape and figs have absorbed water.
