INGREDIENTS

  • 2 green apples
  • 2 navel oranges
  • 4 c. fresh cranberries
  • 1 c. (firmly packed) dark brown sugar
  • 1 c. cider vinegar
  • 1/2 c. finely chopped preserved ginger
  • 1/2 c. mixed candied fruit
  • 6 whole cloves
  • 6 whole allspice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. mustard seed

DIRECTIONS

  • Peel, core and dice the apples. Slice the oranges thin and dice. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan and simmer for 15 minutes or until thickened, stirring toward end of cooking.
  • Store in a sterilized jar in the refrigerator until served. May serve over pork chops.
