INGREDIENTS

  • 2 large chicken breasts, split
  • Flour
  • 1/3 c. margarine or butter
  • 1 c. chicken bouillon
  • 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/2 c. chopped green pepper
  • 1/2 c. chopped onion
  • 1 3-oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 tsp. oregano leaves
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • Dust the chicken pieces lightly with flour. Melt the margarine in a large skillet over low heat. Add the chicken and brown. Add remaining ingredients and cover.
  • Cook over low heat for 20 minutes. Remove cover and cook for about 10 minutes longer or until chicken is done.
