Created in Tijuana, Mexico this uniquely delicious salad dressing uses anchovy, lime juice, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire Sauce, egg yolk, black pepper, olive oil and Parmesan cheese to create this tasty Caesar salad dressing recipe.

INGREDIENTS

  • MAKES ONE SERVING:
  • 1 tsp minced Anchovy
  • Juice of 1/2 lime
  • 1 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • Splash Worcestershire Sauce
  • Yolk of one boiled egg - see NOTE
  • Pinch black pepper
  • 2 splashes olive oil
  • 1 tsp Parmesan cheese
  • Parmesan cheese, as desired on finished salad
  • Romain lettuce
  • Croutons, as desired

DIRECTIONS

  • Note: Boil one egg for one minute. Once boiled, separate white from yolk, retaining yolk.
  • Add ingredients one at a time as listed under ingredients, except for Romaine lettuce, extra Parmesan cheese and Croutons. Mix ingredients well after addition of each ingredient.
  • Place Romaine lettuce on serving plate. Drizzle with Caesar Salad Dressing.
  • Sprinkle Caesar Salad with croutons, if desired and with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired. Enjoy!!
