INGREDIENTS

  • 2 pounds swordfish steaks, fresh or frozen
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons paprika
  • 6 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 cup macadamia nuts, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley

DIRECTIONS

  • Thaw fish if frozen. Combine flour and paprika; mix well. Roll steaks in flour mixture.
  • Place in a single layer on a well-greased 15 x 10 x l-inch broiler pan. Drizzle 2 tablespoons melted butter over steaks. Broil about 4 inches from source of heat for 10 to 15 minutes or until fish flakes easily when tested with a fork.
  • While steaks are broiling, saute macadamia nuts in remaining butter in skillet and allow to turn a golden brown, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  • Add parsley; mix. Pour over steaks. Serve at once.
