INGREDIENTS

  • 4 4 ounce salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 2 Tbl. butter
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. basil leaves, dried
  • 1/4 tsp. thyme leaves, dried
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  • In a small sauté pan combine the butter and other ingredients. Melt the butter over low heat.
  • Stir all ingredients in the melted butter to mix well. Increase heat to medium and allow ingredients to come to a slow simmer. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • Place an over rack about 5 or 6 inches from oven broiler. Turn on the broiler Place the salmon fillets onto a broiler pan. Brush both sides of the fillets with the butter mixture.
  • Place the salmon fillets under the broiler. Broil the fillets for 8 to 12 minutes. Check the fillets at 8 minutes. Remove the fillets from the oven when the fillets just begin to flake. The fillets will continue to cook after being removed from the oven. Serve and enjoy.
