INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (6 oz) finely chopped dried apricots
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

DIRECTIONS

  • Put apricots in a small saucepan, cover them with water, and simmer over moderate heat until tender.
  • Drain thoroughly. Puree in a food processor or pass through a food mill, then beat in sugar and almonds.
