INGREDIENTS

  • 1 cup (6 oz) coarsely chopped dried peaches
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped almonds

DIRECTIONS

  • Put peaches in a small saucepan, cover them with water, and simmer over moderate heat until tender. Drain thoroughly.
  • Puree in a food processor or pass through a food mill, then beat in sugar and almonds.
