Lemon-Flavored Chicken Wings broils wings which have been marinated in lemon juice and salt and pepper after liberally covering the wings with butter and broils until golden brown.

INGREDIENTS

  • 12 to 16 chicken wings
  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 tablespoons butter or margarine

DIRECTIONS

  • Cut off wing tips and freeze to use at a later time for soup. Combine lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Pour over wings and marinate for 4 hours, stirring occasionally to ensure that wings are well coated on all sides.
  • Drain wings on paper towels. Place on foil-lined broiler pan and rub each piece liberally with butter. Broil for 15 to 20 minutes, or until crisp; or, place in 500 degree F oven for 30 to 45 minutes. Place in serving dish, and serve.
