INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups self-rising flour
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 can or bottle (12 ounces) beer

DIRECTIONS

  • Mix self-rising flour and sugar; make a well in center.
  • Add beer. Stir until just blended.
  • Turn into a greased 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan.
  • Bake at 350°F 50 minutes, or until done. Turn out immediately. Cool on a rack.
