INGREDIENTS

  • 1 C. Karo dark corn syrup
  • 1/2 C. firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
  • 12 medium sweet potatoes, cooked, peeled, and cut up

DIRECTIONS

  • Bring first 3 ingredients to boil; reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
  • Pour half the syrup mixture into a shallow baking dish; add potatoes.
  • Top with the remaining syrup mixture.
  • Bake at 350°F, basting often, for 20 minutes. Makes 12 servings.
