INGREDIENTS

  • 1 (1 1/2 lbs.) chuck steak
  • 1 (2 1/2 lbs.) chicken, cut up
  • 1 (28 oz) can whole tomatoes
  • 1 green pepper, cut into chunks
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tsp. Tabasco or to taste
  • Salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Debone, trim and cube the chuck steak. Brown the steak.
  • Place all ingredients in a large kettle with lid, and simmer covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, or until the chicken and beef are tender.
  • Serve with Couscous (search recipes).
