Barbecued Fish Recipe wraps bass steaks in bacon and then basts in a mixture of barbecue sauce, dried onion, lemon, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and catsup while grilling to perfection.

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. bass
  • 10 strips bacon
  • 1 cup bottled barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp. finely diced onion
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • Dash of hot sauce
  • Catsup to taste

DIRECTIONS

  • Cut bass crosswise into 1 1/2-inch steaks; wrap each steak with strip of bacon. Secure with toothpick. Place steaks on grill.
  • Combine barbecue sauce, onion, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce and catsup.
  • Brush steaks with barbecue sauce mixture. Grill, turning and basting, until done.
