PAN PIZZA

Pan pizza is a pizza that is almost like a regular pizza except it is cooked in a pan, and has a thick crust, usually between 1-2 inches. Deep dish pizza is also thick but it's layered in reverse from most pizza. The crust is pressed into a pan and up the sides. Then the meats and cheeses are added and the whole thing is topped with sauce.

In a true distinction, this is not a "style" of pizza as used in the other styles of pizza listed. A pan pizza could be any "style" of pizza except it is cooked in a "pan".
